i'm Marci- i'm a princess. When one hears this they may think... spoiled brat. high maintenance. flippin annoying. eh- well i can't deny any of these but much more comes with this title. i am a princess in mmmmmmmany ways.
first: i am a princess to and because of my mommy and daddy. i am regularly called "the princess" by both of them (no negativeness attached to that, i'm sure). they are the best parents i could ever ask for and i am so blessed to have them. every princess deserves parents like them. they have and will do everything in their power to help me become the best person i can be. they are the most selfless, most beautiful people i know. they are also the perfect example of a great marriage. they have set my standards for a marriage and i am so grateful for their wonderful examples. i love them forever and thank goodness i am their princess. i wouldn't have it any other way.
second: i am a princess for my community. some of you may know that i was fortunate enough to be elected as an apple blossom princess of 2009. this was such a great learning experience and privilege for me. i was so grateful to be chosen to represent my town and maybe give something in return for all everyone in little ole' manson has done for me. i moved to manson when i was two and have been running through the orchards ever since. our beautiful valley is my heaven on earth. i have been spoiled with fresh fruit all year round, a crystal clear lake at which to spend my summer days and a community that is so supportive it almost hurts. :) in fact, i was almost too spoiled because now i hate any store bought fruit or tap water from anywhere but manson. this community shaped me as a person and i am forever grateful for the oportunity to be their princess. (even if i'm retired...poo)
third: i am a princess to my Heavenly Father. I am so grateful for this knowledge. The knowledge of the church is the biggest blessing in my life. it has caused me to love my family even more and more each day. i am so grateful to know that i get to spend eternity with them (if i play my cards right) and i'm so glad that Heavenly Father loves me enough to give me my family. He really does treat me like a princess :). The gospel has kept me out of so much trouble. because of the standards i have learned from the church i am a "good girl" (some would say) and boy am i glad that i am. I love Heavenly Father so much and he lets me know everyday that i'm a princess by the blessings he gives me.
All in all, every girl's a princess. You don't think so? Open your eyes and look around. There are people all around you who believe you are, so why shouldn't you?
i'm marci and i'm a princess :)

So glad you've joined us here in blogland, Princess Marci! :)
